This is the area of the riser you will meed to check. The riser pictured is defective.
This pictures is showing a riser that will fail. The depthe from the straight edge to the bottom od the counterbore is just under 3/8”. If you see one of these risers call us and we will send you a call tag, so the riser can be returned. We will then rebuild the bow with a new, updated riser.
This is showing a good riser. To check the measurement lay a straight edge across the counterbore in the upper sight window. Then measure from the bottom of the counterbore to the straight edge. A good riser will have a 1/8” distance to the straight edge.
